Benefits of WOSC Membership
- Enjoy the availability to sail 365 days a year.
- Use of the club facilities to change and shower.
- Sail the club boats: Wayfarer, Firefly, Fusion, Laser, Topper (Hire charge applies).
- For children, sail the club Optimists (Free).
- General handicap racing on Sundays and Wednesday evenings (summer only).
- Saturday afternoon recreational sailing (May, June, July, August, September).
- Special racing events on selected weekends.
- Attend the Royal Yacht Association (RYA) Adult Level, Level 2 and Level 3 dinghy course run by the club. (Discounted rate for club members).
- Attend the RYA Sailing School Youth Training and qualify up to Stage 3
- August Junior sailing week (numbers limited, booking required).
- Junior Team race training incl. matches and competitions (Saturday afternoons September - April).
- Dinghy storage (Annual fee applies).
- Swim in the swimming area and swimming lake.
- Social events (Quiz nights, Bingo, Annual Dance, Halloween and Bonfire night).
- Bar-b-cue on the club facilities.

Your commitment to WOSC
The club is run by the members for the members. To make this work all adult members and at least one adult representative from all family memberships are required to assist in the running of the club by performing official duties. Official duties are defined to include the following:
- Officer of the day
- or Assistant Race Officer of the day
- or Patrol Boat Driver (if qualified - RYA PB2)
- or Patrol Boat Crew
- or Galley Duty
Club members, as a minimum should expect to undertake one to two duties per year.
And we ask you and your family to observe all safety and security rules.
